Weekend Update: 3.21.10

March 21, 2010

I didn’t post an update last Sunday because the Spinetingler home office staff decided to try out the new miniature golf place so this weeks update is double stuffed.

We posted a video interview with Rebecca Cantrell.

Steve Finbow told us about writing his novel Balzac of the Badlands.

There was an important update about the Conversations with the Bookless series.

The president of the Minnesota chapter of Lambda Lambda Lambda, The Nerd of Noir, reviewed the premier episode of Justified, a series based on an Elmore Leonard story, and a new French movie, A Prophet.

Keith “Why doesn’t Dennis Tafoya like me” Rawson took a look at the brand new Victor Gischler novel, The Deputy.

I reviewed three books, one from the end of last year and two recent releases:

Balzac of the Badlands by Steve Finbow

Print the Legend by Craic McDonald

Let it Ride by John McFetridge

After the jump take a look at the rest of Spinetingler’s book coverage.
