I wrote about Asian Crime fiction and two books in particular, The 65 Lakh Heist and The Cage, and also wonder about the lack of translated Asian crime fiction. I also reprinted one of my old pieces, The Greater Bruen Mythos.
We conducted a lot of interviews. Jack Getze interviewed Robert Crais; Eric Beetner conducted a video interview with Kelli Stanley and Jim Napier interviewed P.D. James.
The annual Conversations with the Bookless series also made its Spinetingler debut. We talked to Naomi Johnson, Kate Horsley, Gary Carson, Jimmy Callaway and Garnett Elliott.
The Nerd of Noir continued his weekly TV coverage with reviews of the latest episodes of Justified and Breaking Bad. He also reviewed the movie Il Divo.
A new weekly column made its debut, Crime Song Wednesday, where we showcase and take a closer look at one crime song a week.
