Thanks to Film Gordon for reminding me that yesterday was the 40th anniversary of the movie Cotton Comes to Harlem based on the Chester Himes book of the same name. I’d love to see a new filmed version of one of the Harlem books.
If there was a movie version being filmed today who would you like to see cast in the roles of Coffin Ed and Gravedigger Jones.
