Here are the books that we received at Spinetingler HQ this week. A mixed bag with some interesting titles. I’ve never heard of Case With 4 Clowns and that makes me want to read it. It’s being reprinted for the first time in 50 years. I’m looking forward to reading Peeler, Beat to a Pulp and It Came From Del Rio.
I actually have a copy of the old school original edition of Hating Olivia by Mark Safranko that Murder Slim Press in the UK put out a few years back (picture at the end).
Read any of them? Plan to?

I liked Snow Angels quite a bit. Smart, nasty small town police procedural in the Laplands.
Glad to see BEAT to a PULP among these fine titles.
BEAT TO A PULP is next up for me. Just got my copy and I’m ready to be knocked out.
Beat to a Pulp is a fantastic collection!
BEAT TO A PULP: ROUND ONE is a consistently exceptional collection–one of the best I’ve read in a long time. It’s filled with pulpy goodness by big names and names I’m guessing will soon be big. It’ll knock you flat–and yet you’ll shake your dazzled head and ask for more.
